This year's Vision Conference was held at the Hard Rock Hotel, on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, September 14-15, 2006. We had a great turnout, an
awesome meeting, a great meal and lake cruise aboard the Odyssey! One user said the cost of their conference would be compensated
by the information gathered at Vision. Next year's conference will be held September 20-21, 2007. Save the date!
We covered a lot of topics, with some great user participation. As always, we are continuing to work on new features for the BRMEdge™ system, including
Case Manager 2.0, International Bank Fee Analysis (BSB), and as requested by the audience, Budgeting.
BRMEdge™ Updates ....................
Budgeting
As promised, we are diligently working on completing a design specification for the new budgeting module in BRMEdge™. We are
planning to have the initial release of the new budgeting system by the end of this year.
As Weiland moves forward on the process of bringing this powerful new functionality into BRMEdge™, we are going to share the discussions,
design plans and progress of the budget enhancement with all of you so that everyone will know what to expect. This will allow for the best possible
results. Additionally, this will allow us to demonstrate how our application design, development and QA process works. If you would like to be
included in the process, please email Dan Gill.
Please feel free to share specific budgeting situations or ask for suggestions on how you can use the new model to meet your needs. We want the new budgeting module
to meet your needs. We look forward to hearing from you! Please note that future specifications are confidential and are bound by the confidentiality requirements
of your BRM system license agreement.
BSB
Steve Weiland talked about the global electronic Bank Services Billing Standard (BSB). BSB files can now be processed in BRMEdge™! The BSB is used to transmit detailed balance, service charge, tax, currency and adjustment data
from any bank in the world to its customers. This file format was defined within TWIST XML Open Standards Environment,
which is a global standard.
Case Manager 2.0
Several new case types have been added to bring even more unwanted situations to your attention:
- SPAM Services
- Undesirable Services
- Volume Fluctuation Cases
- Missing Service Cases
- Stronger control over which services can be qualified for cases
- Direct contact management from Case Manager
BAWeb™ News .........................
The much-anticipated release of BAWeb™ is near! Scheduled to be released in December, BAWeb™ is the dynamic web-based signatory management
system that will revolutionize how you monitor multiple bank relationships. Systematically relate bank accounts, bank agreements, signatories, signatory
limits and authorities with each parent company or subsidiary. See how this system will make your life easier by scheduling a
demo or call 847.735.0577 for more information.

Messageboard
........................
CAA™ users indicated a need for a secure messageboard they could utilize for further networking and problem
solving. The good news is, this already exists! This is for BRM users as well. From the Weiland home page, click on "CONSULT OUR EXPERTS". You will be
prompted to enter your username and password, or will need to sign up, a painless detail. The messageboard is constantly monitored, login now!
