Phoenix-Hecht Announces Bank Charges Up 3.5% ..

The Blue Book survey by Phoenix-Hecht organizes pricing information for 84 cash management services. Image replacement document clearings and retail lockbox multiple payments experienced the largest price increases in 2008, rising 14.1 percent and 13.2 percent, respectively.

Image exchange was the preferred method of check clearing at banks; lockbox paper photocopy service was the only service to average more than a 9 percent increase from 2005 to 2008, underscoring banks' eagerness to switch to image-based information exchange.

WFG customers will receive a $100 discount on the Blue Book of Bank PricesTM if 'Weiland' is mentioned during the ordering process.
