WFG Releases CAA 3.07
..................
CAA 3.07 is now available and includes a number of new enhancements. The latest release of
CAA View 360 system is version 4.03. View 360 contains several licensable components for web access into the account analysis
database. The new release is currently available at WFG’s ASP hosting site, servicing the needs of 23 banks. A few of the
new enhancements are listed below:
The RePricing Analyzer Tool
RePricing Analyzer allows users to build re-pricing scenarios and test them against real production
results so the impact upon customers (and the bank) can be measured prior to implementation.
ExHandler
ExHandler is available in Version 4.03 of View 360 and is a web-based account exception management system. This tool is designed to replace the
phone calls, emails, faxes, post it notes, etc. that go along with managing account exceptions. The ExHandler tool allows a financial institution
to implement a 'four eyes' approach to approval and business process management of account exceptions including waivers, discounts, and special
earnings rates.
More Marketing Messages
Financial institutions can now flavor the marketing messages on the analysis statement based upon the account type of the customer.
Marketing messages can now be set for the entire bank, for a particular class of accounts, for a particular account type
code given to an account, or even for a specific account.
Account Level Effective Date
Some institutions open accounts on a daily basis and post the information to CAA. The system has been
updated so that an account added on the 3rd of a month is not automatically added to the analysis process for the previous months' billing period.
A user can alter the effective date, but by default, an account will be assigned an effective date based upon the month and
year in which it was opened.
Expanded Earnings Allowance Tiers
CAA currently supports an earnings allowance rate structure limited to 4 balance tiers. CAA has been expanded to incorporate CAA’s Variable Rate Management (VRM) tool into the earnings allowance rate structure. Using
VRM, an account can now be assigned an ECR tier containing as many as 10 balance levels. VRM also allows CAA to keep a rate history of default ECR’s
over time.
Web Reporting Using View 360
View 360 Reports now include Revenue Loss Views. The reporting views are designed to search the billing database for lost revenue opportunities and bring them to the users’
attention. The report designs are compiled in such a way that a user can look at the total revenue loss for the bank or by any grouping of
accounts within a bank (loss by branch or by region, etc.) The new views also allow a user to drill down into an account to see why a loss is reported.
Obvious losses include fees waived because of account level waivers. Not-so-obvious losses due to
price deviations and other discounts are also included. The system's intelligence is structured so that a discounted service is NOT reported as a
loss when an account has plenty of earnings credit available (enough to cover the standard fees).
If you have any questions about any of the items available in CAA 3.07 please email Bill Monsour or phone him: 847.597.8156 for more information.
