CAA™ Release 3.04 News: ..................

Contract Pricing:

CAA v 3 easily maintains contract pricing utilizing bank service price history. By setting an effective date, the system maintains prices at the account level.

Security Upgrades:

CAA 3.04 includes new features for increased security:
  • Users with Full Access can change and add data, but they cannot delete anything.
  • Administrator-level security is now required to perform any deletions.
The following screenshot illustrates how security is set for each user using a menu:

Statement Re-Analysis

A key feature in 3.04 is the ability to perform statement re-analysis. Using this new feature, you can:
  • Edit statement data from past months; and
  • Re-generate the statement after making changes to volumes, balances, and/or pricing.
Does your bank have customers that want a new statement generated with corrections? You can now accommodate those requests!

Re-Pricing Enhancement

CAA 3.04 includes another new feature: service pricing exceptions are now divided from recurring services:

  • A recurring service (with auto units) is now considered one special instruction. All price exception records are separate special instructions.
  • In the absence of a price exception, recurring services always reflect bank (or class) standard pricing.
  • When a bank (or class) standard price changes for a recurring service, the recurring service automatically incorporates the new pricing.

If exception pricing has been used for a recurring service, the instruction is separate from the recurring attribute of the service:

  • In other words, the exception price can (and will) expire according to the expiration date of the pricing instruction.
  • However, the fact that the service is a recurring service will not expire with it. Recurring services have their own expiration dates.
These re-pricing enhancements will simplify the task of annual re-pricing.

CAA Upgrade Downloads:

Several CAA updates are available to download from our website:
  • If you are currently running CAA v 2.0, the latest upgrade available is 2.22.10.
  • If you are running the CAA 3.0 system, there is a 3.01 upgrade available.

Banking System Updates: ...................

Scheduling Manager

The next Scheduling Manager upgrade will monitor a specified download folder, retrieve new SUF files, and then post them for the current analysis period. This enhancement allows for true end-to-end automation.

Office Integrator

The latest version of Office Integrator will be able to automatically create and post new SUF files directly to the system. This enhancement will allow for straight-through processing.
