We have some exciting CAA news to share with you:
A Quick Look at CAA 3.5: ...................
In an effort to provide all the complexity an account analysis system requires, it is sometimes the little nuances that get overlooked.
In any financial software tool, there are some simple features that most users would expect to be readily available. At WFG, we have
looked closely at some of the things that a user needs to be able to do while using CAA and have put some thought into how
as a software provider could enable such functionality. In the 3.5 version of CAA (scheduled for release in October 2007), the user is going
to notice a few new features not previously available in CAA.
Screen Prints:
There are times a user needs to be able to print the current screen. CAA 3.5 has a new button in the task bar available for this.
Excel Exports:
Throughout the system there are data grids (embedded worksheets) which display information. Where applicable, an Export feature has
been added so that the data grid being viewed can be exported to MS Excel in its entirety. When viewing bank level account service
detail history for example, all bank level service information appearing on a particular statement can be exported to MS Excel with
the push of a button.
User Defined Fields:
The CAA system contains many user defined codes. Officer Code 3 for example, is the CAA
name for an officer code that can be used by an institution. This code and others like it (e.g. region, division, team leader, etc.) can now be user-defined.
This feature will allow an institution to make their system more intuitive when it comes to the meaning of data.
