CAA News
Greetings CAA™ Users:

Welcome to the fifth installment of CAA™ News! In this issue we will review the 2007 Vision Conference and CAA updates.
Vision Conference ........................
WFG recently held its annual CAA Vision Conference at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago. We had a great turnout this year and a very productive meeting, highlighted by several interactive user sessions. The conference was preceded by the first ever CAA System workshop, held at the corporate offices of WFG. Next year's plans for the Vision conference are already underway. More details will be published as they are finalized.
CAA™ 3.05 Update ......................

Originally scheduled for release October 2007, the 3.05 CAA system will be available at year end. Beyond the user interface updates discussed in the last newsletter, the Statement Modeling feature of CAA will become a web-based application! This new web version will be available for delivery with the 3.05 version of CAA. Existing users of the CAA system will have a choice between the back office version of modeling (available in the current version of the system), or the new web-based modeling tool. The web-based version of Statement Modeling is being developed at WFG using state of the art technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005, and AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML).
CAA 3.06 Planning ......................

WFG has begun the planning process for CAA 3.06. We will keep you updated on all the features and functions going into this new release. One of the highlights was discussed in the CAA pre-conference Workshop held at the WFG corporate offices last month. The 3.06 system will support a bank-wide re-pricing module to assist banks with the process of re-pricing their line items services on a periodic basis. The new tool is designed to allow the process to happen over time, without affecting the production billing process. The tool will allow the user to analyze the difference between current and proposed pricing across the entire bank, while still considering all special pricing that may be in effect. In the end, the re-pricing module will allow the user to make a re-pricing scenario real, with the push of a button! Do you have thoughts or questions regarding the process of re-pricing your account analysis? If so, please email
Bill Andrules (Banking Systems Product Manager).
CAA Upgrades to 3.X .....................

WFG has received several inquiries regarding upgrades from CAA 2.X to CAA 3.X. We are happy to announce that we have a rather systematic approach to dealing with upgrading older systems. If your institution is interested in a system upgrade to the 3.X level at this time, please contact our Banking Systems Account Manager Paul Aureli regarding upgrade requirements.
