FEEDBACK NEEDED: Warnings, Alerts & Notifications
...
by Steve Weiland
The financial industry has become more complex and therefore in need of warnings, alerts and notifications. Notifications are necessary when significant account changes occur. It is not practical to
scan reports or go to specific screens to be informed of a significant event. Additionally, the significance of an event varies from institution
to institution, or from customer to customer. We are exploring this interest and need your feedback.
Why not notify the bank officer or customer via email or a secure Web page? Some of the
scenarios we are exploring include:
- A balance falling below a specified minimum or above a specified maximum.
- A rate value falling below a specified minimum or above a specified maximum.
- A service that didn’t appear on last month’s statement.
What do you think? We value your opinion and look forward to your response.
